The pack mission  is to deliver to the boys and their families in the Thibodaux area, the highest quality cub scout program possible.  It is the vision of the Pack to provide an enriched scouting program to all boys in grades one through five.  The boys advance in rank each year, beginning with Tiger Cubs in first grade and continuing through the Arrow of Light in fifth grade.  We encourage the boys to continue the fun, adventure and development of the scouting by graduating into the St. Genevieve Boy Scout Troop #453 (chartered in 2002).

Our pack has been blessed with dedicated scouts and outstanding leadership which has allowed our pack to earn the following awards:

• Quality Unit Award - 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004
• Summertime Pack Award - 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 (At least 50% of the pack participated in summertime pack activities each year.  Scouting doesn't stop at Pack #453 during the summer, the fun just gets hotter.)
• National Den Awards - Several dens from Pack #453 have regularly earned the national den award.  This award is only possible with dedicated scouts willing to participate in the scouting adventures offered by the den.
• Den Leader and Cubmaster Awards - Several of den leaders and cubmaster have earned district awards.
