Fire Department |
|
October is
fire safety. Each year since our scouts were Tiger
Cubs we visit the Schriever Vol. Fire Station with the
scouts. Each year the fire safety presentation
advances with age. One year, scouts were able to see
how it felt to hold a fire hose and the pressure on the
line. Another year, scouts were able to dress in full
fire gear to see how heavy all that gear really is; escape
plans are always a good thing. Any local department
